What is business process engineering?
Business process engineering is
the Identification, understanding, communication, analysis,
and design/redesign of a company’s processes both internally
and externally. Essentially, it is discovering how your
company gets work done. Process
breakdown is a leading cause of confusion, frustration
and incomplete service within your organization and
is often dismissed as inconsequential because most people
involved have their own interpretation of how things
work. When challenged, the various stakeholders (employees,
managers, executives) often provide different views.
While this may seem insignificant, small details may
be omitted and have repercussions in other areas down
the line. Much like a bee not pollinating a flower,
leading to a chain reaction of negative effects for
the entire eco systems, the balance of your company
is delicate. Identifying your problem areas before they
grow too large, could make lead to a number of benefits

staff and finally, measured for improvement. This can
